Two-Faced: Where Beauty Lies, is a thesis project that delves into the dynamic evolution and conflicting nature of global beauty standards throughout history, geography, and cultural influences, with an emphasis on the effects of Eurocentric ideals driven by Western influence on perceptions of beauty. Through an experimental multi-sectional casing of books, this study delves into how beauty is defined and questions whether a fixed definition can exist for something as fickle and diverse.
